About Diverse Networks Group

Diverse Networks Group is a forward-thinking Australian telecommunications powerhouse built on innovation, reliability, and genuine customer focus. As the holder of ACMA Carrier Licence #511, we operate as the parent company to a growing family of specialist brands, each delivering excellence in its own domain.

From designing and building world-class optical fibre infrastructure through Ardent InfraCo, to delivering high-performance internet services via WiFibre across retail, commercial, enterprise, and government sectors, and challenging the mobile market with Nomad Mobile, our challenger brand that brings premium service and local onshore support to the mid-tier segment.

Together, we are creating a stronger, more connected Queensland. We don’t just provide connectivity. We build the digital bridges that empower communities and businesses to thrive, always delivering on our promises and ensuring no one is left behind.

How it works

Our Strategy

Diverse Networks Group’s strategy is built on three core pillars: Infrastructure Excellence, Customer-Centric Delivery, and Market Disruption through Specialisation.

Technician supporting IT infrastructure

Vertical Integration & Control

Through Ardent InfraCo, we own and manage the design, construction, and maintenance of our optical fibre network. This gives us superior quality control, faster deployment capability, and long-term cost efficiency compared to pure resellers.

Technician working on computer equipment

Multi-Segment Connectivity

WiFibre serves as our flagship Internet Service Provider, delivering reliable, high-performance broadband across retail, commercial, enterprise, and government markets. By maintaining direct access to NBN, Telstra Wholesale, and multiple private fibre networks, we ensure redundancy, competitive pricing, and service flexibility.

Targeted Disruption

Nomad Mobile positions us as a genuine challenger in the mobile space. We deliberately avoid being “just another MVNO” by focusing on the mid-tier segment, offering superior customer experience, local onshore support, and the “little extra” that larger players often overlook.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a licensed carrier?

Yes, we operate as a fully licensed carrier under the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Carrier Licence #511.

We own the telecommunications assets for all outside plant infrastructure, including fibre optic cables in the ground. This applies whether the fibre utilises third-party carrier duct networks or our own infrastructure.

However, in certain cases, Ardent InfraCo retains ownership of inside plant assets, such as riser cables, in-building optical equipment, routers, and other terminating equipment. In these instances, Diverse Networks Group may not be the registered owner of those specific assets.

Are you a SIP (Statutory Infrastructure Provider)?

Yes, we have a series of buildings under SIP right now and others under an Anticipatory Notice, meaning they will be converted once they are completed and the sites are operational. For clarity, we are only the SIP when we are the carrier of last resort or when the NBN is not servicing the site by any means. We are also regulated under the SBAS regulations (Superfast Broadband Access Service) and comply with all regulations on this matter.

Do you provide wholesale access to your networks?

Absolutely. This is handled through Ardent InfraCo for both SIP sites and Non-SIP sites, which acts as the wholesaler of these assets to external parties. The arrangement is governed by the formal building and maintenance agreement between Ardent InfraCo and Diverse Networks Group, underpinned by an ICOLA (Inter-Company Operating Legal Agreement).
